Sometimes, not always, when I delete an email from any folder in Thunderbird, the email following it is also deleted. Have tried my mouseclick settings. No help
I can't figure out why this is happening. When I delete from any file other than trash I can usually find the lost email in the trash, but they are sometimes hard to find.

Sounds like you have a mouse going bad. Try a different mouse and see if it improves.
