Hi, What's the easiest & safest way to Uninstall NO-SQUINT so previous settings get restored?

I noticed the REMOVE button within the Menu-ADD-ONS, but want to make sure my previous settings won't be interfered with.

I've now found NO-SQUINT to be incompatible with YahooMail-Classic, so I'm desperate to Uninstall it. For example, it caused my DELETE-MAIL button to disappear. Note that Classic only functions upon my Disabling JavaScript, so that could factor in to the forementioned incompatibility.

P.S. FYI the New-Yahoomail is so horrible, that I feel crippled without Classic. Not that its the original-classic (the butchered version of Classic sucks as well, but not as bad as the new-tyrannical version.

That extension shouldn't cause any problems after you uninstall it via the Add-ons Manager Remove button. But if there are issues afterwards, you can open about:config and Reset both of the preferences below, via a right-click menu for each pref. Once you restart Firefox the remaining NoSquint prefs will be gone.

Q. Where does NoSquint store all its per-site settings? A. All NoSquint settings are stored in your Firefox profile, specifically in prefs.js which is contained in your Firefox profile directory. The preferences are prefixed with extensions.nosquint. Per-site settings are stored in the extensions.nosquint.sites key. These can be easily viewed in about:config (type it into your location bar).

When you uninstall NoSquint then you get a dialog asking if you want to restore the previous zoom settings.

If elements on web page like buttons only consist of a background image then extensions like NoSquint and disabling website colors and Windows High Contrast themes can cause such issues because they basically disable background images and possibly replace it with a fixed background color.

You can check the NoSquint site settings via the right-click context menu and see if background images are disabled.

Thank you edmeister! You saved my life (for now!

The REMOVE did not resolve it, but when I right-clicked: extensions.nosquint.sites and then RESET

it finally got resolved - the DELETE button is now restored to the newlyRidiculous yahoomail.

Note: the following failed to appear on the listing: extensions.nosquint

Believe me, Corel, I wish I could get NoSquint to work for me, due to my eye issues. I'm halfway to cataract yada yada. But I didn't quite grasp what you stated, call me dummie or whatever.
