How I remove something called i.yming.com that is preventing firefox from allowing yahoo to be my start up screen?

i.yming.com is on firefox when i open it up. it does not prevent browsing, however it will not allow anything except a blank white screen as my home page. i have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it and am having the same issue.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
