Loaded firefox 3.6.14 and now cannot access internet. Restored computer to previous version now works. Tried 3.6.14 again and same problem, any ideas?

Using windows 7. As soon as firefox is updated I cannot acces the Internet. Tried Internet Explorer works ok. I have restored computer to previous firefox and it works fine. Tried updating again and the same problem cannot access internet.
