Links do not open in emails. Have to copy them and open in Firefox.
Since reinstalling Thunderbird and Firefox, When i get an email in my Thunderbird email listing, clicking a link does not open it so I have to copy it and open it in Firefox.

First, make sure FF is the default browser: FF menu > Settings > Home and startup. If it is, try this:
Go to TB menu > Settings > General
- scroll all the way down and click the 'Config editor' button on the right
- click 'Accept the risk and continue' if that appears
- search for network.protocol-handler.warn-external
- change network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http and network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https to true
Click a link in a message a couple of times. The first time, nothing may happen. The second time, either the browser should open or you should be given a choice of browsers to open.
Once it's working, set the two preferences back to false.
This does not work and as you can see I have had to copy the link to reply using Firefox.
