trash disposal
My thunderbird account empties all trash after two weeks. This is too short for my purposes, and seems to be a recent development (last 2 months or so). I've gone to settings and directed all future deletions into Archive, but I'd rather have the solution I had before, which is that the Trash held onto things for months or years before deleting. Anything I can do about this?

Thunderbird has no automatic deletion of messages by default. Please check with your mail providers.
