Thunderbird password on new computer not recognized
New Windows11 computer. Old computer inop. Thunderbird user and installed on the new machine but TB not recognizing my password. The onboard password recovery doesn't work for me because it doesn't yet list mine as a previously accessed account because this is a new install on a new machine I guess. I've tried many password attempts with no luck. Is there another way I can retrieve my old password? Tnx in advance for any help. B.

Is this a gmail account? Please give more information.

Please post a screenshot of your server setup. Someone here may see the issue. It's not Thunderbird that is rejecting your password, it's msn.

Can you access the account from website? I tried to duplicate your issue by setting up my own msn account, but I had no problems.
