I'd like to know how to sync godaddy email in Thunderbird and my mobile email. Can I delete a message in one and have it auto-delete in the other?
Just switched from Outlook to Thunderbird. Got my GoDaddy email to funnel in but can't find seem to find it there is a way to sync my email from the Thunderbird program and my iPhone mail. I'd like to be able to delete an email in one and have it automatically delete in the other. Is this possible?

You use IMAP instead of POP on your email account and all devices.
This really has nothing to do with Thunderbird, other than setting the account up as IMAP when you add it to Thunderbird, these are email protocol standards.
I'm set up as IMAP but when I delete a message in Thunderbird, it remains in my phone email. Outlook didn't work like this. It auto-deleted immediately.

I have also heard of providers not deleting the message until you Compact the folder in Thunderbird.
It's set to - Move it to this Folder: Trash on (my email address)
