Unable to change update settings
My Firefox install seems to be stuck on "Never check for updates (not recommended: security risk)" changing the setting to "Automatically install updates (recommended: improved security)" does not persist after closing and re-opening the browser.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Refreshed Firefox
Deleted prefs file
Still cant set firefox to auto update.
I am running the ESR release but it still should auto update security updates and annually update to the next ESR.
