Can't find sent mail, and outbox always shows empty!
I need to see sent messages in email, and the outbox is always empty, so I am wondering how to do this?

If you are new to Thunderbird, have you told TB where to put 'sent' messages?
Check Tools - Account Settings - Copies and Folders - "When sending messages, automatically: " There are two choices, "Sent Folder' on:" (some folder location), or "Other:" (some folder location). Any messages sent should be in the selected folder location.
The outbox is a temporary storage folder used when TB is offline. It holds messages that you selected to Send Later, when TB is online again.
