My "message" windows are all large. all of my emails are very large. In the past I was able to choose three sizes-small, medium and large.

I used to choose from small, medium and large email "panels" to read or prepare emails (sent or received). I was able to move two mails on the same screen (received one to read and preparing my reply) because of these available sizes. Now every email fills out my entire computer screen and I cannot make them smaller.

I'm not sure you are talking about Thunderbird. Its display windows have always used the usual GUI controls to move or resize the Windows. I've never seen it offer your large/medium/small settings.

However it does offer separate windows for reading and writing. Do these not have the close, maximise and restore buttons in the top corner?

Are you using Windows, Mac, or something else?

I checked to make sure by clicking the right hand corner of the window (it has 2 squares, which I think are the GUI controls you mentioned. That did not help me, though.

A few days ago I installed Windows 10 to replace my old Windows 7, so that may be the problem. I regret having replaced Windows 7. Is there any way I can uninstalll Windows 10 and upload Windows 7 to solve my problem with emails?
