Keyboard keys are showing up different on Screen, eg 'j' is 'g'
This problem does not exist with Internet Explorer or in Microsoft Office. This only exists in the Firefox Browser. I have tried Left Alt Shift, Ctrl Shift, FN Insert and FN Num Lock without success in getting keyboard to respond. I have looked at the keyboard setup in the Control Panel and see only the US default keyboard. I am at a lost at what else to look for, to correct.

Did you try to reboot the computer?
Yes, I did. Several times after trying various solutions.
The only reason for change change would be either a problem with the keyboard or an accidental switch of the keyboard layout.
Did you try a different keyboard?
It is possible that you have switched the keyboard layout by accident.

You make the Language bar visible on the Windows Taskbar.
You can do that via the right-click context menu of the Taskbar: Toolbars > Language Bar
I had tried a different keyboard with the same result.
I had checked the keyboard layout and found that there was only the default choice available. Thus there is no language bar visible on the toolbar.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 23: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.
