Firefox opens automatically upon computer start up. how do l stop this? ie; l only want the browser to open when l wish.

This is a Windows feature rather than a Firefox setting. Check to see if Firefox is shown in the Windows startup folder. To do that click on the Start button, select Programs and then select Startup. Firefox is likely to be listed there, right-click on the Firefox icon and choose Delete.
