Yes, the volume control on the web page. By using it I am able to balance the sound of each and listen to 2 news station at one time. I usually watch 2 station at once in the morning. This allows me to balance them, same as listening to 2 people speaking in the same room...

I am having the same issue on both computers, The other computer in the other room is only a few months old. So this tells me it is not related to this computer.

Did you have 2 on screen? I split my windows onto a large 42" screen TV via HDMI. Splitting the 42 inch TV into 2 windows. One for Fox13 and other for the Suncoast ch 40. I load ch40 and try to play live stream The Suncoast will not play AT ALL. I can open the page, but "error occurred" message always appears in Firefox. I get NO STREAM of video. I still have to go to Edge to get my local station.

I also just tried allowing cookies, Suncoast will still not play, (press play or reload the page). I still Have to use Edge to play the stream.

NEW issue, NOW, unless I bring the Fox station to near full screen, the volume bar is not visible, only choice is mute. Are these issues from the sources? Are they encoding their pages in some way?

I use Firefox to watch several of my live news programs on their web sites. Recently I am finding that the volume control does not allow access to actual control (it is on or off choices) without going to full screen. And tried a couple on edge. In fact, the first below will NOT LOAD in Firefox. https://www.mysuncoast.com/livestream/ https://www.fox13news.com/live So far skynews.com/watch-live has still let me balance the sound levels. What is going on? Is this a choice of the providers to not allow control? A recent change in YOUR end? First, try opening Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode.

Go to:

`about:support`

Then click **Troubleshoot Mode** and test the live streams again.

If the volume control works normally there, an extension or custom Firefox setting may be interfering with the video player.

Also try clearing the site data for the websites that are not working:

`about:preferences#privacy`

Find **Cookies and Site Data**, remove the data for the affected website, close Firefox, and open it again.

For the site that does not load at all, also check if you are using an ad blocker, privacy extension, VPN, or strict tracking protection, because some live video players may not load correctly when these are blocked.

Since the same stream works in Edge, this does not necessarily mean Firefox removed the volume control. The website may also be using a different video player or serving different code depending on the browser.
