How do I install the Firefox version 156?
It says that the final version is 154, but on the site the potions of the Firefox version are ...-156

This is explained on firefox.com/channel — Beta is one version ahead, Nightly two. Unless you're interested in testing several versions a day this is probably not for you.
Where did you see the mentions you're referring to?
Where are are you seeing Firefox 156.0 mentioned?
Release (Fx 154.0) < Beta (Fx 155.0b#) < Nightly (Fx 156.0a1)
The Nightly development channel is more unstable and meant more for testers and devs in mind. It can get checkins and updates twice a day.
The current Firefox Release is indeed Firefox 154.0 as it was released on two days ago August 18, 2026. https://www.firefox.com/firefox/154.0/releasenotes/
