often when i try to start Firefox I get the error message "Firefox is aready running. Do yow want to exit Firefox? Yes or No"? When

I get the error msg. "Firefox is already running. Would You like to exit Firefox? Yes or No"

I enter Yes and Firefox starts normally. This usually happens after a Firefox update or sometimes when I exit Firefox normally. I use Windows 10 if that makes a difference.
