Privacy Policy from TD Bank (https://easyweb.td.com) appears at the bottom of every page

Privacy Policy from TD Bank (https://easyweb.td.com) appears at the bottom of every page change, no matter if "Accept All" has be selected. Moving from one account to another causes this pop up to appear. This does not happen with Chrome. With Chrome, one "accept all" has been chosen, the pop up no longer appears

If I turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection the problem seems to stop.

Further testing shows that there is NO effect if I turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection. The problem DOES NOT seem to stop.

TD Bank support indicates this problem is caused because cookies are being deleted with Firefox, that are not being deleted in Chrome. I can't determine how to change the settings in Firefox to stop this behaviour.

Hi,

I can't reproduce the issue, so it should indeed be caused by your settings. Please go to Firefox Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to Cookies and Site Data and:

  • make sure "Clear cookies and site data every time you close Firefox" is NOT checked
  • click "Manage exceptions" and make sure the website you are asking about is not blocked explicitly

Many thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I still am seeing the problems I checked both settings. Changed "Clear cookies and site data every time you close Firefox" to NOT checked. The site is not listed under "Manage exceptions".
