Firefox installed Web Apps without my consent

Hi, I am using Firefox exclusively for my work Claude account, I only check my usage on it. Today, I noticed Firefox silently installed a webapp under $USER/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and it has a Claude webapp, which I neither click any install or add to my menu. I found it extremely concerning in terms of privacy, and I am wondering if any other people have similar experience.

Unlikely. You must have clicked the web apps button IG taskbar tabs add tab in the address bar.

I also think it is unlikely firefox would want to do that. I tried click that web apps button, surprisingly it doesn't create the shortcut web app in the folder I found the Claude shortcut.

Here you have a longer discussion about a similar case -> https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1rlnqzg/how_the_hell_did_this_get_installed_without_my/

This is quite useful. Thanks for your time on this! I deleted that Claude shortcut and it is not appearing again, I guess Firefox just need a popup.
