Random letter underlines in Firefox settings

In the settings menu, I sometimes see letters underlined. They are just 1 letter underlines, and it really bothers me, as it makes the settings look really bad. I have underline links off, so I'm not sure how or if I can turn them off.

I see them there as well so not sure what about it bothers.

Those are access keys used for web forms. You can focus that item using Alt+Shift+the underlined letter.

I don't know whether there is a way to hide the underlines for access keys. ??
