Extension keeps getting hidden from the Menu Bar every so often, how do I pin the extension to the Menu Bar?

Hi, I really like using an extension frequently. However, every so often the extension's quick-access icon disappears from the Firefox Menu Bar. I am able to get it to re-appear by disabling it and re-enabling it, however, it's a tedious hassle doing it regularly. And I would prefer not to pin it to the Overflow Menu, as is available through the right-click dropdown from the Menu Bar, since it's an additional layer of obfuscation. How can I pin the extension properly to the Menu Bar?
