Disallow pages from changing microphone volume (disallow WebRTC autoGainControl?)

samtuke

https://meet.jit.si changes the volume input (microphone) level every time I use it in Firefox, causing me to manually increase mic volume every time I use the service. I need to disable this -- I know my mic volume settings better than the web application. I assume that the page JS is using WebRTC autoGainControl to change the levels. If so, how can we disable this feature of the WebRTC API, so that apps can't mess with the audio?

Since I'm not sure if this can be done yet, please file a bug for it here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Core&component=WebRTC
