I've got MSI motherboard and its sound drivers go together with Nahimic (a program to work with sound, boost it, clear it and some equalizers). I really like this program, it fixes some flaws of my speakers and headphones. Nahimic works just fine with offline players. But it doesn't work with firefox. Neither youtube nor vevo, nor online cinema players work with firefox. But with Internet Explorer sound is boosted as it should be.

Being a devoted fan of you products I have no desire ti switch to any other browser, but quality sound is extremely important to me. I asked for help at MSI.com forums, at MSI.ru forums, at Nahimic forums - but they just dont answer. You seem to be my last chance.

I've got: windows 7, 64 Z170A GAMING M3 intel i5 6600k Firefox 54.0.1 (32 bit) Realtek 6.0.1.8216 nahimiс-2 (v. 2.5.16)

This may not be the solution but looking at this bug that fixed a recent update issue (in 54+) for Nahimic users, the output level would also be reduced without that fix, but should be fine now.

I would therefor suggest to reinstall Firefox 54 (yes, 54, not 55 yet), and when unsuccessful, the Nahimic 2.5.16 software. You may be able to see if your current setup still injects Nahimic DLLs into the Firefox process before doing so.

Actually it helped But it started working not with 54 version, but with 53/0/03 Still, it's only half of the solution sinse you can't update your firefox now

This is confusing. Are you saying you downgraded Firefox from 54 to 53.0.3 to make it work? If so, what happens when you upgrade now? This would most likely bring you to 55 as its automatic update has been unthrottled meanwhile. Or is there another reason not to be able to upgrade?
