I reinstalled Win 11 after a crash. I installed Thunderbird mail client and imported a saved profile successfully. When I run the program or attempt to send an eMail, I get a request to enter a POP 3 password. I do not remember it as I installed Thunderbird many years ago. An internet browse suggests contacting Thunderbird support to help with a reset. I have been a regular Thunderbird donor since at least 2019. I hope you can sort me out. I can no longer use my email program in Thunderbird because I am constantly asked for my password, which I no longer remember. There is also no option to enter a new password.

Nach Aufrufen der Startseite werde ich aufgefordert "geben sie ihr Passwort für '[redacted]@t-online.de' ein. Das habe ich aber vergessen. Danach erhalte ich die Meldung, dass die Anmeldung fehlgeschlagen ist. Nachdem ich versucht habe, gespeicherte Passwörter aufzurufen, werde ich aufgefordert, eine PIN einzugeben; die kenne ich auch nicht. Es ist zum Verzweifeln!

Hello there, once again I am having password troubles signing in. I have been using thunderbird for many, many years. The past few weeks when using thunderbird to access my verizon.net e-mail I get a time out message when the program is trying to log in. I can log into aol.com, log into my verizon.net email account to get -mail. When doing this I am prompted to change my e-mail password. Where & how do I reset my password in thunderbird? I have 2 email addresses which I can't access the first one because I lost my number. Now I need to link the first email to the current account without having to use my older phone number.

Hi Just recently when I open up Thunderbird for my email account , I am asked to go online, a pop box asks ' Enter your password for souza on pop3.ic24.net:' . I don't know it and how do I set one up?

I’m having trouble logging in to my Thunderbird account on my laptop. My password doesn’t work, and when I click “Log in,” I’m redirected to a website, but I still can’t access my account. It also seems like Thunderbird doesn’t recognize or find my account at all. Instead of allowing me to log in, I’m being told to join some kind of waitlist, which doesn’t make sense because I already have an account and need to access it. I urgently need to use my account for work, so I would really appreciate any help with recovering access and getting Thunderbird to recognize my existing account.

My computer was hacked. I had all data removed and a new windows 11 installed. I'm trying to establish my Thunderbird email ([redacted]@carolina.rr.com) since many of my communications are associated with that sign in. I don't have my previous password. Please help!

Recently I had a hard drive failure while doing a backup. Somehow Windows and almost all apps and personal data. was lost. I downloaded a fresh copy of Thunderbird and can't get past either auto or manual configuration because I lost and do not remember password. When I try to add a new account, I always get the THUNDER MAIL screen which is Greek to me . How can I enter a new password? or is possible to use the PRIMARY password? I am going to try and see if i can get a current profile to use . Is there an easier way to achieve this? I still have my 2 earthlink accounts but again no password.

I am a long-time user of Thunderbird. My PC is reinstalling Thunderbird. I am being asked for a password. I do not have one. There is no provision to reset my password. Please help.
