I just received this from my browser application, in the developer console:

“hzcddohaebgygypamkuh.supabase.co” has been classified as a bounce tracker. If it does not receive user activation within the next 3,600 seconds it will have its state purged.

I don't think accessing supabase via their javascript library should be tripping this. I hope this does affect my customers' experience.

My URLs safeeenergyanalyst.org and safeeenergyanalyst.com do not redirect to https://russlowes.wordpress.com/blog/ on Firefox, but do on Chrome and Edge. I cannot figure this out, and have contacted GoDaddy and they say it is a Firefox issue.

Jetzt hatte ich die Meldung erhalten " der Treiber cpuz419_x64.sys konnte nicht installiert werden wegen möglicher Virus-Gefährdung", als Abhilfe wurde angeboten die Ker-Sicherung auszuschlaten. Das habe ich mir nicht getraut. Als weitere Info erschien eine Seite, auf der "Windows10" unterstrichen war. Könnte das alte Profil dem Rechner vorgaukeln, dass ich Windows 10 nutze?bold text

Man hatte mir eine neue FAssung von firefox eingespielt - firefox VPN. Danach waren meine Passwörter, die Chronik und verschwunden und eine veraltete Lesezeichen-Datei noch vorhanden. Wie komme ich an meine ursprünglichen Daten? Wo liegen diese?

Can you please fix the problem Firefox is having with Youtube. it hangs every 2nd or 3rd video. It never finishes loading the page. I have to go to MS Edge to actually use YouTube. This only started with update 149.0 on windows 64 bit computer.

Hi, I'm running FF 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11. I've used profiles for a while now and on several occassions I've "lost profiles". Currently I have three profiles which I set up and edited the icon and colour associated with each. When I launch FF I see the Profile Manager and can select any of the three and I can create a new profile which shows here. However, once in any one of the FF profiles I don't see the others - by which I mean that when I go via the hamburger lines top right and click on the current profile, the 'other profiles' section is blank. I also cannot edit the profile from using the edit pencil top right (after clicking the hamburger lines and clicking on the current profile), it takes me to about:editprofile but the page is completely blank. Confusingly, if I go to about:profiles I see two profiles, neither of which shows up in the Profile Manager! I'm going round in circles trying to understand where to edit my exisitng profiles and make sense of the five profiles that don't all show up in the same place!

I went to [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-backup] and under "Create a Firefox backup file" at step 3 it says, "Scroll down to Backup, and click Manage backup" but when I went there no such "Manage backup" option exists as you can see in the attached screen capture. So what gives? How can I "Create a Firefox backup file"? I am using Firefox v147.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Please instruct. Thanks RJB

Hi all, Starting at the weekend or end of last week I think, when I send tabs to another device when that device is switched off then when I open Firefox on the other device, the sent tabs are loaded in private browsing windows, not the main window with my saved tabs in. Sometimes all sent tabs arrive in one private browsing window, sometimes in one private browsing window for each tab. As I can't drag private tabs into the main window this is really annoying! How can I stop this happening please? Cheers :)

The past 2 days When watching Peacock, after a commercial is done it freezes but yet the show is back on. Only way to watch the show is to move the mouse after all commercials. So this is new. I watched peacock on EDGE, no glitches. I checked my speed test...all is good. Frustrating, i'm used to firefox....so FIREFOX is not compatible to Peacock. and i installed Firefox again since it was running slow, crashing glitches,& non responsive...

Since version 149, the search box in the address-bar has a different behavior and layout. There may be cases, when this behaviour is better, but I don't get it. In my use-case, I have got to do several more clicks to select the correct search engine with every search.

How to get the old style & behaviour back:

enter: about:config in the address-bar. confirm security question. search the entry: browser.search.widget.new and set it to 'false'

Would be great to have a checkbox in the settings and the option if you want your familiar solution changed. (add this at the bottom of the new select search-engine dropdown.)

yesterday I got quite a scare. While Firefox was open, a new tab briefly appeared showing the page about:processes, and immediately afterwards the browser closed itself on its own.

At the same time, Chrome was open in the background. When I clicked on Chrome, a prompt appeared asking whether I wanted to allow changes to be made to the system (the typical UAC prompt). However, I’m not entirely sure if this was actually triggered by Chrome or possibly by another application.

I clicked “No” on the UAC prompt and immediately unplugged my keyboard. I recently started using an ASUS ROG Falcata, which is connected via USB.

After that, I ran a virus scan with Windows Defender — it didn’t find anything. I also ran AdwCleaner, which also came up clean.

At first, I suspected the ASUS ROG Falcata (I’ve only been using it for a few days), since it’s almost like a small computer itself and can execute macros, patterns, etc. I was worried about a possible firmware bug or something worse. At the moment, I’m honestly hesitant to plug it back in and am using an old Dell keyboard instead.

Importantly, I wasn’t pressing any keys at the time of the incident.

Now I’m quite unsure what could have caused this.

Is there any way to trace this in Firefox (e.g., via logs)?

And is there any (event) log where I could check what triggered the UAC prompt?

One more thing I noticed: I shut down the PC afterward and turned it back on later that evening. Everything booted normally and is still running fine today. However, Firefox updated itself yesterday from version 148.2 to 149. Maybe that was somehow related (though there’s no indication in the Firefox update history that anything failed or similar).
