Used to be able to access my Xfinity account on FireFox. Now, when I try to log in (after I type in User Name and Password and hit "Enter",) I get a blank screen except for the words: "a rendering error occurred: ." in the upper lefthand corner of the screen.

I am using a MacBook Air running Monterey 12.7.6.

I can't get open tabs to sync from my other computer. Bookmarks synced and other info but I don't see anything about tabs from other devices. I've synced both ends, both are logged in and I've selected open tabs in both. Nothing,

I was tracing some network activity for an unrelated issue and noticed that when FF starts up it immediately makes multiple TCP connections to livejasmin.com. I have this site blocked by the Windows Firewall and have the host file direct it to 127.0.0.1 so nothing is actually going in or out, but why is FF doing this and how can I fix whatever was done to enable this happening?

I have cleared all cookies and cache, and disabled all addons, and even started in safe mode, but regardless of what I do the very 1st connections that FF makes are always to livejasmin.com, which is obviously not a legit place for FF to be doing any of its routine updates or optimization tasks. My home page is https://google.com and the livejasmin.com connections appear before the 1st attempt to connect to google so this is clearly something malicious that found a way to get into FF early in the startup process.

I have also run 2 different scans tools on the entire computer and both found nothing. I have reviewed all the running processes and do not see anything suspicious either. I do not see this issue with Chrome or Edge, just FF which is my primary browser. All browsers are updated to the latest version as well as the WIN10 OS.

I have also removed my profile and started FF up without the profile, and I noticed the livejasmin.com connections again while the FF "your profile cannot be found" error message popped up. When I had FF make a new profile and set it as the default the same connections to livejasmin.com were made when I restarted FF with the new profile. So it is not tied to my profile.

The comment section on various sites is no longer displaying, The Federalist, Townhall, Pjmedia, Hotair, Redstate. All use disqus.com. Settings under privacy and security set to standard. Manage exceptions list all these, including disqus. Turned off, restarted, reloaded sites (not from bookmarks). Works on Edge but not Firefox. Do I just discontinue using Firefox and be done with this? Just checked Firefox for updates-says mine is up-to-date, version 136.0.2.

Firefox 136.0.1, Linux 6.8.0-55, have set Okular as default pdf application, however Firefox will not open pdf file when downloaded nor will it open the file when selecting Open File from the Download Icon on the toolbar. Only was I can get to file is to select Show in Folder option and open from within Dolphin.

When I open a new tab I get an error message if I do not have the web address. This is the message I get.

Have tried suggestions from other strings. Will not open in any mode on my Mac mini so cannot even uninstall. Continue to get message that It is trying to install a new helper tool but will not install or open. Restart did not work, shut down and restart did not work, “safe mode” with shift key or option key does not work.

Transferring bookmarks & backups for passwords is easy and I'm not worried about that. But the about:config settings that I have customized and accreted over years so that nothing beeps, spins, auto-plays, loops, or throbs a tab, are not so straightforward. I'd like to review what files I can save how to make sure I do not lose these, which are the most important things to me about my Firefox installs--keeping the web safe for quiet, nondistracting searches and reading.

Windows 10 Enterprise, managed by my organization, but with just enough admin privileges to customize my Firefox.

HI, there are certian websites that I can't use Firefox with. Its like I cant log in properly. Is a reason? Or do I need to fix my settings? I hate chrome. I don't want to use it, but for some of these sites I have to. Is there something I can do?

Hello Idm is not working with Mozilla Firefox It is perhaps due to update By the way I often use Google chrome, though Firefox is my default browser and I made search engine Google, because other search engine options do not support me in Google books It is also another thing I noticed in chrome : [ your setting is managed by your organization] - this is of course is unusual feature and maybe a malicious thread infected Google policy which I lately solved. Hello, when browsing gallery sites, well, i actually only have one in mind (NSFW https://hitomi.la), each time i move to the next picture previous, picture disappears then there is site background, but only for a moment, then the next picture appears, thus creating flickering effect. Its different from slow loading. It only happens on next unloaded picture, meaning, that if i move back and forth between already loaded pictures then everything is fine. Other browsers, Edge and Chrome, doesn't have that problem, they load pictures seamlessly.

I was wondering if i can do something in about:config, but i have no idea what to change. I also tried disabling hardware acceleration, but it made it even worse.

you want to make firefox Great again and not a pile of miss place cluttered garbage like it is now this is what need to be done so at least some people can have a beautiful browser just they way they want it ....

delete !!!!! reader icon, the star icon, the double arrow icon from top right hand corner of my browser ..

THEN put EXTENSIONS ICON in HAMBURGER MENU where it should be PUZZEL ICON in HAMBURGER MENU also put CUSTIMIZE TOOL BAR icon IN HAMBURGER MENU TOO ... that give a clean start for ........?

just put all your little icons in customized tool bar icon (that will be in the HAMBURGER ICON ) and then give us the power to put what we want.. where we want them to be ...... if you dont want any icons they stay in customized tool bar menu never to be seen again instead of automatically putting it somewhere that will piss someone off ( fucking great idea right ? )... but i think the better option too permanently remove any icon i want from CUSTOMIZED TOOL BAR ICON menu would be better but i know people cant decide on there own so make a extension that if someone wants to delete a icon/function from customized tool bar menu we could get that extension and remove things our self's with a click or 2 , that would make the tool bar fully customizable no more automactilly putting new thing on tool bar and pissing people off just put a notice saying new options have been added to customized tool bar icon/menu in hamburger menu and they can move it to toll bar and use it if they like that option and other people dont have to waste time trying to figure out how to remove it and waste there valuable time ...... and everybody would be happy and firefox would be hands down the best browser period in my book and im sure many other people would be so happy !!!! ...

   then do not touch the drop down menu at the top left hand side of the browser do not remove or add anything too that menu ever its perfect !!!!

  p.s educated guessing is why browser is why browser is a mess now nobody want to put a foot down and do what needs to be done . well now you have a plan to make fire fox great for everyone ! i have more ideas but for now this is what needs to be done let freedom of choice be for everyone and stop this google mircosoft xfinity no choice this is how it is garbage ! you have work to do if you have questions feel free contact me !

Is anyone else having issues with some pages refusing to load over the last few days. My Gmail account and my Bank of America page became intermittent over the last few days and now simply refuse to load. Both readily load on my Android phone and also load on the computer in question with Microsoft Edge. Has there been an update I missed or any other issue with such pages suddenly becoming incompatible with Firefox?
