IT'S MAKING ME CRAZY - so bad that I've even tried MS Edge! Ewwww.... I read in the HELP files and online that I should be able to change the config to 1/1 after unchecking option to let Firefox control things in my settings. However, it does not pop up the change config box - and, I later read that it is not available any longer. This is killing me! Thank you for helping!

I travel for work and often stay at IHG properties (Holiday Inn, etc.). I have Firefox as my default browser; version 99.0. I cannot login to their wifi using Firefox; I have to copy the address and paste it into Google Chrome and after confirming my information I am able to browse normally until the next day; It must reset at some point.

I read this article about Captive portal detection: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1314194 I change the setting per the article hoping it would take care of my concern but it did not.

I've never had to do anything to Firefox to print and I see no obvious setting for print issues. Normally, all printing is handled by Wind 10. I've using an HP desktop PC with Win10 and printing to the printer is wireless. Have never had problems before. Anything change? What I do now is "print" to a .pdf app and then have to load the .pdf in Adobe. Firefox wants to open my generated pdfs in Firefox..which it never used to (and that's another issue). I have to open, as stated, in Adobe, and then print.

Until recently, I resisted allowing updates for Firefox because of the announcements of changes to prevent access to some technical kinds of website which I use. These include the public websites of the Paris Observatory which include useul informational ftp pages with important text, data and software files.
I did recently allow a Firefox update, and now I find that I am cut off from access to these ftp pages. How can I re-enable access to ftp? If it can't be done in the new version of Firefox, how can I return to an older Firefox version that does allow such access?

Basically because I live in Puerto Rico, the push updates and texts are wonky for some reason, so it makes the 2 factor identification really hard. I recently got a new laptop and for some reason ever since then firefox keeps signing me out whenever I restart the computer. It's a big pain because of the puerto rico issues I have to temp undo the 2 factor thing... Which as a company who likes security... I'm sure you can appreciate how much of a pain this is. Hi, I'm trying to clear my cache and site data (in order to update my gmail signature), and each time I clear selected sites - namely gmail which had hundreds of thousands of GB cached - it just comes back. After tyring this 4-5 times, Youtube started having hundred of thousands of GB cached too!! So now, despite managing data an clearing these repeatedly, there's more than when I started.
