I have 'Allow remote content in messages' turned off.

When viewing a message with remote content, I see the bar "To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message", however the 'Preferences' dropdown described in Remote Content in Messages does not exist...

I want to show remote content for a single message, but this seems impossible!

What am I doing wrong?

Firefox saves my bank card details when I make payments, but to use the auto-fill I need a pin. I have no idea what this is, and I can't find anywhere to change it. I found where I could change my password (which I don't want to do) but nothing for the pin. What can I do?

I clicked the Facebook homepage shortcut instead of using my regular bookmark. The page eventually loaded to the login screen, which then led to a Captcha verification screen, and another, and another, etc., until I got back to the login. Whew! Okay. No, not okay, it prompted me to get a verification code by email. I entered the code to log in. It started again. Then again. Cleared cache, etc, restarted browser, all the usual, didn't help. I had to leave for work.

When I got home, I restarted my computer and reset the modem. I removed the homepage shortcuts. Used my regular Facebook bookmark and logged in. Why did this happen? I am now terrified of the Homepage Shortcuts! 🤡💀

Images have not been displaying properly. Or when they display properly, the images may go blank when scrolling past them or hovering the cursor over them. This is specifically troublesome with buttons to click on to confirm "yes" or "no", "next" or "start" where the text within those buttons is not visible. I've included a screen shot showing how some of the images appear on screen. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

last night when i closed the system down, i had 5 spacial tabs with names, and apx 50 other tabs open, come to start the system this morning.. all gone.. nothing.. just a new firefox.. all my history.. gone... this is not good, as the 5 spacial tabs that i had where from seriten sits that need to be their,and now.. just gone.. the lot... and all the setting are correct..

I’m looking for help with a Windows taskbar issue. My taskbar refuses to auto-hide when I have a video in full-screen and a Picture-in-Picture video running simultaneously. It works fine with just one video, but the PiP window keeps the taskbar active.

Does anyone know if there is a setting or workaround to fix this behavior?

WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THIS ERROR???

I never got this before but now i get this every week. restarting my computer does not fix the problem. this sucks! the article to fix this are way too complicated. how do I fix this? I use Ccleaner and reboot, but that does nit fix the issue either. HELP!

New to Thunderbird.

I have added a Gmail account to Thunderbird. I select a message in Inbox, right click > Move To > Local Folder

It seems to work. It creates a copy in Local Folder.

However, a few seconds later, the message reappears in the Inbox. The message in Local Folder is still there, confirming that copy is made successfully.

Also, the message is still in Gmail account when viewed from Google's Gmail. It's clearly working like Copy rather than Move.

This is frustrating. Is it a bug?

・最初の検索バーで文字入力ができても、検索結果のページからは文字入力ができなくります。これも文字入力しても打ち込まれていないパターンと文字入力画面すら出ないパターンがありました。

The homepage for Firefox has not loaded correctly since the new updates of a month or so ago (maybe a bit longer). The windows all just scroll from left to right with no data. The widgets showing date, time, etc show up, but the 12 windows for stories just grey scroll left to right. Someone said it will fix itself. Ok. Any ideas out there?

The system was working fine. The next day, when starting Thunderbird (TB, the status line shows logging in to server but loops; no errors or messages, Thunderbird is 'locked out' spinning. I see the normal INBOX page, but logging in never completes. NO CHANGES were made to TB accounts or settings. I have re-installed TB, re-booted, but no change. I cannot check/change any of the accounts or do any further 'debugging' because TB is spinning. The server login is fine because Webmail can be used. Internet connection is fine, because browser works. 1. How can I stop TB from trying to login at start up? 2. What could/would cause this behaviour?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

When i go to type in something in google search it always wants to tell me the next words to type. How can i stop this because it messes me up when typing. Firefox is my default browser. PS: i have tried every thing that AI told me to do and nothing works at all. Thank You.

My signature does not populate when I try to forward an email. I cannot even find an option to manually add my signature.

My signature will populate when I write a new email or I reply to emails.

Is there a fix for this?
