There is currently no setting in the Thunderbird calendar for a recurring date on the "last workday" of each month. This is very necessary for certain recurring dates, such as payments issued online monthly on that date.

This function is included e.g. in the Nextcloud calendar app, but not in the Thunderbird mail calendar.

Is this something coming soon?

Ik krijg geen verbinding meer met mozilla thunderbird email. Google is mijn provider. Google vermeldt: server kan het verzoek niet verwerken omdat dit niet de juiste opmaak heeft. Ik heb wel mijn wachtwoord in Google verandert door Odido probleem. Ik vermoed dat dit het probleem kan zijn. Mijn vraag is of u dit op afstand kan bekijken

I am trying to make the jump away from Chrome to Firefox across all the platforms I use. I am a long term user of NordPass for password management and I love the Firefox/Nordpass extension in Windows 11. Firefox for Android, while not as slick as Edge or Chrome on this platform, I have been recently using it as my default browser. However, I could not find the Nordpass extension for Firfox Android.

A quick search took me here: Cannot find Nordpass to download as addon it was asked 3 years ago with "This add-on is currently unavailable in Firefox for Android but may be included in a future update."

Are there plans yet to implement a NordPass extension for the Android platform?

Since 148.0 version o Firefox I can't load pdf document from online e-mail. The document open in a new window but If save it I can only save it in html. not in pdf. It works only, if I use the print option.

I'm looking to make Gmail my principal email account, instead of using my ISP account. Gmail requires 0Auth2 authentication, as many will know.

I'm a Luddite and prefer to use POP3, for a number of reasons. Thunderbird works fine (with POP3 Gmail), on my computer. Unfortunately, 0Auth2 doesn't appear as an authentication option, for POP3, in Tbird for Android. So the TB android app forces IMAP on my tablet and phone.

Is there any way around this? Are there any plans to incorporate 0Auth2 authentication for POP3 within Tbird for Android?

I keep having the issue that on some websites, a whole list of cross-site cookies is displayed when i click the icon to the left of the address bar. "These parties can use cross-site cookies and site data while you are on this site."

Especially Google (I am not logged into a Google account) lists many different sites here. I can then click on "Allowed X" - but after a few days, the entry appears again without me being asked!

Under "Privacy & Security" I am using the Standard level. It says there: "Firefox blocks the following: (...) Cross-site cookies in all windows (...)" So why are some still being allowed? How can I generally prohibit them except for those I manually allow? The five levels for cookie handling under "Custom" are unfortunately not very self-explanatory, and I can’t find any whitelist option there either.

I can't edit Bookmarks on Android anymore to move bookmarks to subfolders of Bookmarks that were previously created. This is a recent issue. Android 16, Pixel 10 Pro. I have previously created a number of subfolders of the Bookmarks folder. I used to be able to move bookmarks easily with the edit option to a subfolder. Now the carrot next to the Bookmarks folder does not expand. Restarted phone, un/reinstalled Firefox. I can edit my bookmarks in Firefox in Windows 11, and now this is my only way to move bookmarks so that they are in a subfolder on my phone. I have to move them on my laptop. I mainly browse on my phone, so this is very inconvenient, and not a good development from my point of view. Thanks for your help!

Ever since the new update I can't save to any of the bookmark folders on my phone anymore. When I click on bookmark now all I get is the options to save in the bookmark menu, the toolbar, other bookmarks or create a new folder. But all the other bookmark folders that I have I can no longer save to them it no longer gives me the options.

Even created a new folder to see if that would work, but I still can't access it when I bring up the bookmark menu so I was wondering if there's any workaround or a fix to the solution?

I am unable to recover the original profile files, and this is not me trying to recover that; they are just gone completely so, I can't bring that original profile back to fix this. I have refreshed, uninstalled, signed out, closed the tabs from my sync list, etc, but I can't get this to go away. I don't know what to do.

All of a sudden, my default search engine changed to Google. I didn't do it and don't want it. The "settings" still show Firefox as my default, but it doesn't stop Google from hijacking my searches. I want to get rid of it.

I am being locked out of my Firefix desktop linux account using Ubuntu. It had me successfully change my password yesterday and today won't accept any of my known present and previous passwords.
