Flash no longer works properly after upgrading both Firefox 3.6.23 and Flash plug-in 11.0.1.152 on Mac OS X 10.6.8

Flash stopped working fully in Firefox after recent upgrades including the Flash plugin. The symptoms are improper touchpad response in flash apps, e.g. maps.google.com's streetview won't scroll by dragging.

The flash plugin works correctly in the Safari browser.

Thanks. This corrected the flash problem. Now Google street view works properly. I've installed every Firefox update pushed to my Mac by Apple, so I'm curious why my version of Firefox was so old.
