When opening Firefox this time-today, shortly after (a few days ago) updating to the Firefox 6.0 update and setting up the new Tab Groups, now none of my Tabs or Tab groups are showing/available (I checked the Tab Groups area also). What the heck happened and how can I get them all back?

Did you check in History.

You should also check your restore settings. https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Session%20Restore#w_configuring-session-restore

I'm sorry, but this did not help solve my issue with Firefox 6.0, as I already had my Firefox configured for restore (utilizing all of the methods suggested, because of many issues over the years and revs.); the History will not allow a restore of all tabs from the time before the loss; the "This is Embarrassing" screen did not come up this time, but it has numerous times prior to the rev 6.0 update. This time everything was just lost completely.

Did you try Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session?

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox profile folder.

Do you see any numbered files sessionstore-##.js in the Firefox Profile Folder ?

Cor-el: Did you read my answer to the previous help assistance? I stated clearly: the History will not allow a restore of all tabs from the time before the loss. There was not history available, probably because of version 6.0 issues. As I mentioned, I have had many Firefox crashes before and usually I'd get the "This is Embarrassing" screen, but not this time. Thanks for trying, but please read all of my replies first.

I cannot fined a "Restore Previous Session" option under "History," or anywhere else that seems obvious...I'm using vers 6.0.2, just in case...

This is not the first time I've lost my sessions...usually after an update...

gneiss: The option "Restore Previous Session" is located under the History drop-down menu, located in the main Firefox toolbar. But from my experience, it is often greyed out and not usable as an option. The fact that it took multiple days to crash and lose all my tabs and the new group assignments makes me believe it is a bug/dysfunction in the Firefox web browser program.

Yeah, my "Restore Previous Session" option is also greyed out...

Chrome better?
