firefox is not * working at all

when i press open add ons manager it does.. nothing. when i click on buttons in my addons toolbar, they dont do anything. when i click buttons such as the "sign in with google" button https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.done=http://answers.yahoo.com%2f&.src=knowsrch&.intl=us there and many other javascript popups, nothing happens. firefox has been working FANTASTIC for like 4 weeks until this morning. *. also, basically none of my addons are working but i presume that is because the addons suck man *

You realize that many users of this forum will be offended by your language...

You may have a problem caused by one of your add-ons. Try Firefox's Safe Mode to diagnose add-on problems.

First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings (profile folder). You can make a copy somewhere outside the Mozilla folder. See Backing up your information.

Next, how to use Firefox Safe Mode.

If you can't fix it with your current profile then try a new profile.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
