Firefox is not saving my passwords, and I have checked all settings! HELP!
I have checked all my settings, and I still have to put in my password every time I log into sites. Anyone know why it's doing this? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I think this is caused by a corrupted passwords file. See

(Keep in mind that following the instructions there will nuke all your saved passwords. You should make a backup of your profile folder before deleting anything.)
Thank you, but I don't think that is it. It was working fine the other day, and I changed my settings somehow and can't figure out how to get it back so it will save passwords.
Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox? If the latter happens then you have a problem with cookies that are not kept or the file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.
Thank you, and yes - that is the problem. It is saving my usernames and passwords for sites I visit all the time, but not logging me in automatically. I will check my cookies - THANK YOU!
Ok - I went to Tools, Privacy and changed it from "remember history" to "use custom history settings" so that it will accept cookies and hit "ok" but it's not saving it and it reverts back to "remember history"
