Opening a new window with Firefox, it is remembering and automatically logging me in with the information from another window, how do I stop this?
I am new to Firefox. I am sharing this computer and with Internet Explorer I was able to minimise my page, where I might be logged into hotmail or Facebook for example and someone else could come along and open a new window and log into the same email program or Facebook as a new session. I have found, however, that when someone opens a new window with Firefox it just automatically remembers the login details from the other window and it isn't possible to have 2 different sessions going. Is there a way to fix this?

That doesn't help I'm afraid, it still logs me out of the other account. With IE I was able to keep it open while the other person logged in using a different window so there was minimal disruption.

You can run two sessions of Firefox in parallel but there are a couple of extra steps. One is to create a different profile for the second session. You do this using the Profile Manager. Two is to start up with -no-remote added to the command line.
