FF 3.6.7, Flash 10.1 -- Any time I try to view a video from FaceBook - either directly linked to YouTube or inside FB, Flash either crashes with the annoying error message or hangs forever. I have reloaded, unloaded, disabled all other plugins and add ons etc, etc. I can get it to sort of work by loading Flash 10.0.12.36

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I think it started with 3.6.6

i just uninstalled 3.6.7 and installed 3.5.2. no problems since. flash is now working fine. go to oldversion.com to get the previous firefox release

3.5.2 works better but not perfectly. If I follow the FB link it works and the video plays. If I click on the image instead, FF hangs forever.

I am having the same problem. I updated Firefox from 3.6.2 to 3.6.7 and i REGRET IT! I can't watch Youtube. Everytime the video is about to start firefox freezes and I can't do nothing besides going into Task Manager and killing it from there. THIS SUCKS!

Firefox freezes every time when youtube videos are loading or when I visit webpages with flash. I had to kill the program using task manager every time it happens and use another browser to view those content without any probs whatsoever.

This is BAD!

I'm done with firefox.

What happened you guys?

Firefox 3.6.7 and flash 10.1 freezes or gets very poor frame rate with flash content.

I made some test swfs showing the frames per second. In all other browsers, at no load, just displaying multiple images, they get 30+ frames per second.

In firefox 3.6.6 and 3.6.7, they get 4-10 frames per second.

Chrome and Safari (using the same flash plugin) work fine. It does not seem to be an issue with the flash plugin.

Also, firefox 3.5.10 works about as well at 30fps and firefox 4 beta 1 gets 30 fps on flash content.

This is happening on Windows 7 and OSX 10.6

It does not happen in other browsers. If all browsers are crashing, you've got more issues than firefox.

Just upgraded to 3.6.8 for Mac os x 10.6.4 and our video pages still freezes firefox. Under os x firefox requires me to force quit and I notice the crash does not get logged by firefox (about:crashes) instead os x asks to log it and report it to Apple.

i really like firefox, i always did. but cant you guys actually test your release before it gets out? im using 3.6.7. and to stop it from crashing a hundred times a day (it just disappears, no message) i had to de-install the flash plugin. yet, other browsers were fine and did not experience the problem.

Had the same problem when i allowed Firefox to update itself to the latest version (3.6.8). I managed to get Firefox to stop crashing by downloading 3.6.8 to my desktop and then uninstalling Firefox.

Once installed again Firefox no longer crashes itself but flash does asking me to submit a error report to Adobe.

Have tried removing Flash from the system and re-installing but 2 out of 3 videos causes Flash to crash.
