Firefox is blocking access to Astound/wave.mail
Firefox is denying access to Astound/wave mail. About 3 days ago Firefox posted a warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead. I am wondering if my recent activity is the cause. On October 23 my MasterCard account was charged $2.99 by a firm in Cyprus. MasterCard is investigating, and suggested that the card be cancelled, with a new card to arrive in the mail. They also advised that I alert my contacts that use MasterCard. In that process I attempted to change my password with Astound/Wave. But, every time I tried is was rejected. I Tried about a dozen times, one attempt right after another. I am thinking that that activity alerted Firefox that someone, other than me, was attempting to learn my information. Just seeing a dozen actions in a brief amount of time should have caused concern for me.
Is this possibly why Firefox is blocking our access to Astound/WAve mail?

That message most like means that the website's certificate is invalid. Now this means one of the following options:
- either their certificate is actually invalid, so they are the ones who need to fix their website (and you can decide if you accept the risks or not)
- you are using some anti-virus software that replace the certificates in your browser (this is a very common support issue)
- you are under a man-in-the-middle attack (this is quite rare, but not entirely out of the question).
So, could you share a screenshot of what you see when the error happens? And do you use any anti-virus software? If yes, which one?
I realize that Firefox is not blocking access, but, rather issuing a warning.
I have not actually tried to open Astound/Wave mail, because of Firefox' warning and the possible risks involved.
Should I present my thinking to Astound/Wave?
Can you attach a screenshot?
- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
We have Malwarebytes.
The screen shot below is what appears when I try to open Astound/Wave mail
Can you click the Advanced button for more detail and attach a screenshot of that info ?
