Whenever I bring my cursor to the top of the screen in fullscreen mode, there's a thick blank space that pops up and I can't figure out how to disable it.

Occasionally, it'll get stuck with it on display until I bring my cursor back up to trigger it on and off.

I've looked into all my settings, disabled all my extensions, and checked full-s in about:config, but am not sure if there's anywhere to enable/disable this feature.

Apologies if there's just some dedicated purpose to it I'm missing, but it's a little disruptive and visually jarring whenever I need to access something from my menu bar.

Thanks for the help!

Try to start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to see if that has effect.

  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
