Google drive files not downloading in Firefox Browser
I am using Firefox Browser V81.0 (64-bit) on MacOS Catalina and I'm experiencing issues with downloading files specifically from Google Drive. I can download other files using Firefox, but it doesn't work when using GDrive. I know it's an issue with Firefox because I've tried downloading the GDrive files using Safari and it's fine.
What happens is I'll click download and then there is no prompt that asks me if I'd like to download the file.
I also looked at this thread and followed the troubleshooting measures (including clearing the browser cache and starting Firefox in Safe Mode), but it did not solve the problem: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1157677]
I've also tried un-installing/re-installing Firefox. And I have my adblocker disabled for Google Drive.
Any suggestions for how to resolve the problem?
I found the solution to this issue. If you disable "Enhanced Tracking Protection" when visiting Google Drive pages, then you're able to download files.Read this answer in context 👍 2
