"%gmail" in address bar vs "%gmail" in bookmarks/favourites

I like to have a lot of tabs opened (some aren't loaded, but the count of tabs goes to ~400 sometimes).

You can write "%gmail" in address/search bar and it will find the gmail tab if any is opened. But you can't do this with a simple click. That's why my "go to gmail" sequence is now Ctrl+T, %gmail, down arrow, enter. I'd suggest an option to allow for %gmail in "bookmarks bar" (I'm not sure how do you name it in English, but what I mean is the toolbar of favourites addresses or - simply - in favourites.)

What do you think? I've read about https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/tabs , but as I understand, I can't use it in a "favourite".

A bookmark is a link that opens a website in a tab and then Firefox shows the URL in the location bar. What want is to populate the location bar and then press enter to go to this URL and that isn't possible.

Maybe search for an extension.

Tree Tabs forces me to search through 400+ tabs, not a big advantage. The https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/pinned-gmail/ is better, but it's only for one page. If I want the same for calendar.google.com, next one for github, and next one for facebook, etc, I can't see any extension. (I might be wrong, but I couldn't find any.)

A bookmark may lead to JavaScript script...? Is it possible to find the tab and choose it using JavaScript?

If you place tabs you frequently use in the first eight tabs (those tabs have a keyboard shortcut; Alt 1-8) or possibly pin them like I do then they are easily to access.

I looked at a brand new tab switching extension yesterday after reading this Reddit thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/i324zk/hi_humans_i_wrote_an_extension_to_quickly_switch/

It's a little annoying at the moment that gmail will match titles with any of those five letters, but the developer has indicated willingness to make changes.

You could suggest an option for adding favorite open tab buttons, or similar feature to make it quicker.
