Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue - won't connect to AMAZON?

Posted

I use a mac mini.

Firefox updated sometime today. Now it won't connect to Amazon - Really? I sell on Amazon. I need to work. I cannot take 2 hours to fix Firefox and I am not very well versed in trouble shooting.

It doesn't connect when I type in the address bar It doesn't connect from my bookmarks It doesn't connect when I google Amazon and try that link It doesn't connect with or without www.

If I don't find an answer that I can use quickly and easily, I will be going to Safari. I'm used to Firefox. It has been my go to for 15 years. This is ridiculous.

Sorry about the punctuation. I can't find an edit feature to fix it. Maybe this will be better.

Now it's working again. Whoever fixed it at Firefox - Thank you.

Don't do that again.

Hi combinola, sounds like it was a temporary glitch with your Firefox, your ISP, or Amazon, because nothing changes with Firefox in 13 minutes!

Firefox is a web browser and not a search engine or a web service etc and there were no updates from Mozilla sent out to Firefox 70.0.

This was very likely to be on Amazon end in some way.
