Hotmail doesn't work propery in Firefox Quantum 59.0.3 (64-bit)
I often use hotmail email account for many years in Firefox. Whenever I use hotmail in Fireforx Quantum 59.0.3 (64-bit) these days, I cannot scroll down the email message list (main page, front page). I scroll down the list, but it scrolls up quickly and return to the top list always. What's happened? It didn't happen weeks ago, but now. Does it hotmail account problem or firefox problems? I know that firefox had problem with hotmail a month ago, but you fixed the problem. So that I am suspicious of firefox. Thank you! /Nobu/

Thank you for the message and I tried them. I am not sure this method worked or not, but I reinstalled the firefox and restarted, in addition I changed the hotmail settings such as the list order is new to old message. So, it looks work properly, but it sometimes has strange behavior. Thank you anyway!

Hi, give this a try please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.3 with a Full Version Installer

when I use Microsoft Edge to open my Hotmail account, it doesn't have any problem, but firefox. The firefox still has problem whenever I use Hotmail account. it always scroll up in Inbox even I scroll down the email list. It is so strange for me and I have never had this problem before. Please fix it in firefox, please. Thank you!
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"clear the Cache:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
Thank you for your message. Whenever I use the firefox, I cleaned the all cache and I use "CCleaner" to clean the histories also. Why firefox doesn't work for hotmail, but the Microsoft Edge works well. It is same pc. I believe "firefox has problems". The firefox is updated this week ver.60.0.1 (64bit), but it is still strange for hotmail after updated. Please fix it. OR I will switch from firefox to MS Edge or crome. Thank you!
I still have this problem in firefox when I use Hotmail email. The screen scroll up always in inbox and junk mail box too. When I use Microsoft edge for the Hotmail, it works okay, but firefox. It didn't have the problem before, let's say months ago, but it has a problem now even you updated the version of firefox. Please fix it. Thank you!

In Firefox Quantum 61.0.1 (64-bit) with windows 10, it still happens. email list scroll up whenever moving cursor with mouse in inbox and other folder also. Please fix it. When I use microsoft edge, it doesn't happens. I tried all your suggestion above, but it doesn't work so far. Please solve the problem. it didn't happen months ago. Why?
