The green Download Firefox button will give you the current Release for your Windows OS which is 59.0.2. Windows XP/Vista users will get served the current 52 ESR (which is currently 52.7.3esr). The file name when downloading shows the Firefox version.

If you want to download for a specific OS or language then use www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

If you still want to downgrade, look under; I still want to downgrade. Click the Directory of other versions and languages link. Look for the directory of the version that you want. But, remember that old versions may have security issues.

I'm not looking for an old or specific version. I just want to know what version is offered for download. Without its installation.

Just specify the version of FireFox on the site. It's all.

That is a Stub Installer and is just a link to start a download from online to install the full version. It never says what version it is as it is a Stub.

If you go to www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Full Version Installers it will always say. What version it is in that window.

Since you say you only want to update your Firefox then this is the way to do that : https://support.mozilla.org/en/kb/update-firefox-latest-version It will show your Version # and if a Update is Available will update you when you press to do so. Some times it is necessary if you know a update is available as having read some where that you may have to shut down Firefox and try again.

Sometimes this function can get broken and it would be necessary after x amount of days to download a Full Version Installer and Install over top to repair that. This does not happen often.
