Since the latest Firefox updates 2 days ago (15 or 16 Nov '17), this function has disappeared:

It used to be that when I just highlighted a line with my mouse, I didn't need to right-click + scroll down the menu and select 'Copy': it was already automatically copied, Then I just needed to paste it elsewhere.

This has gone, and I miss this time-saving option!

But since it's possible, there must be an option to tick somewhere in Settings options to get it back? I've turned round and round everywhere including the site and help pages etc, and can't find any set of this kind of setting options.

Thanks for any help!

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: Version 27.0.0.183

That is not something Firefox can do. I think you were using an add-on, and the new Firefox disabled it.

Here are your choices; 1) Contact its support and ask if they will update 2) Find a replacement 3) Downgrade to a prior Firefox 4) Do without

Thank you very much Fred; I will look into this tomorrow or early next week. If I manage, I'll try & come back to update this reply.
