I am pretty sure my computer has been hacked. My antivirus has found things (Trojans with a Poweliks Gen name) that when it or I delete them they come right back. What can I do to make sure I don't have a key logger so that when I create new passwords for Firefox and everything else they don't know about it and that renders the changes worthless?

Is there something I can run to find everything before scrapping my computer since it would cost just as much to take it to a computer expert.
Please CC an answer to boomer1222@gmail.com because I haven't been receiving my requests to Firefox for resetting and confirming password changes.
Thank you,

Mark A Trebing

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
