Too many updates for Firefox. Can they be slowed down?

Posted

It seems that every day there is a new update to download. I get tired of seeing these messages as well as having to download. Can something be done so I don't get these updates so often?

Hi Melissa, No wonder you get messages about updates, you appear to be way out of date and using Fx37 when you should by now be on Fx48

A lot of software including Windows and many Linux distros continually update (Not sure about Macs OS X). Firefox tends to have a major update about every 6 weeks. Once you are up to date instead of downloading full installer files you can usually get away with a much smaller update file.
