Why does Yahoo continue to overwrite my pages when searhing.

I continue to do the process but the problem still occurs. Is there a sure fix or do I find another web browser. I cant tell you how stressed I am each time I search for something and Yahoo comes up. Please help me stop it.

hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

You only appear to be on Firefox 46 you should upgrade that to the current version Fx47.0.1

Possibly your problem is as simple as needing to change the Search Engine. All you need to do for that is click on the left of the searchbar and use the customise option. Note that changes all of Fireox's searches including the one offered on the default homepage.
