How can I prevent firefox from opening to a bright white screen on load?

When I start Firefox it loads an entirely white screen. I have themes and scripts set to keep most other things dark with this exception. I use a very large screen and this is intensely irritating. Is there any way for me to control what color is defaulted to on a newly opened session?

It sounds like you have the homepage set to open a blank page. Try setting to some website that isn't so bright. How to set the home page

Thank you for your reply. I understand that I can set it to open to something other than a blank page. I was asking if there is a way to set the color of the blank page the browser displays when first started. I have all new tabs, blank pages, set as darker currently with a theme (FT Deep Dark along with Stylish scripts) but something prevents this from taking effect for about 5 seconds at launch.
