Have set Firefox as my preferred browser, have reinstalled...when I go to Firefox site I get just the old read only information, no graphics, nothing but words and blue links. After reading through a bunch of stuff and clicking on a bunch of link I finally found something that said " your system does not meet the requirement to run Firefox. How can this be when It was running just fine before the new Win10 intall. Of course I had to reinstall several programs and such but I was able to access Firefox...don't know what happened, Like I said all I get is a bunch of stuff to read and so on.

I can get online ok, it only happens when I go to the Mozilla/Firefox web site.

Can you access this page:

If you get a secure certificate error, please let me know, and also try it with only http:

The first run of text in red shows how your Firefox is identifying itself to websites, and is the principal way the site would assess whether you can run Firefox. Could you copy/paste that into a reply?

Check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows Accessibility settings.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : Override the colors specified by the page with my selections above

Try "Never" if the default "Only with High Contrast themes" isn't working.
