where have my received email attachments gone...they are on my samaung rugby .....i need the attachments on my desktop computer...they used to be on both my

I bought this computer and smart phone april 2014. things worked until the last couple of months.

is there a file or down load area where these attachments are stored until I save them?... .is there an option to not display their existance on received emails??. ..is there an option to automatically disreguard attachments?
