Hi there,

We are using Firefox Portable for our self service kiosks however we are having real issues while printing longer order slips.

When we want to print slips longer than 25cm, Firefox automatically rescales the PDF and makes it so small that you can't even read sometimes.

Then we extend the paper size so it does not need to rescale however this time if the slip is short it prints the whole blank space remaining wasting a lot of paper.

Chrome does not do that and it only prints the non-blank area on the PDF.

We have tried numerous tips on here and stackoverflow (using about:config) but none seems to help.

I have attached a photo of the slips printed by both browsers for you to see the exact difference.

I found the use of using right-click on images to get a general menu, and the middle-clicking on "Open image in new tab" a boon, because it would often enlarge the images and make them easier for me to see.

In the past two days, suddenly this has become a hit or miss situation and I'm not sure why. Sometimes I can middle-click on "open image in a new tab" multiple times and get no response. Other times if I hold down for a while and then release, it will open the image. And then other times again it will work as intended.

I'm not quite sure why this issue has suddenly occured.

Firefox is up to date, Version 113.0.2 (64-bit). My mouse is a KLIM Blaze, drivers 3.1 which again seem to be up to date. My middle-click in new-tab is set to true in firefox's config.

Does anyone know why these issues are happening?

I see in the blog the roboform extension does not work with Firefox for many users. It errors that it only works in a browser. Why can't Roboform see or associate the connection when Firefox browser is in use. If it is in use, then Roboform should work. Is it a Firefox problem or a roboform problem? Between both of you surely someone can resolve this problem? It seems Roboform has washed their hands of the problem because they reply with a standard enable process that doesn't work for many people. I am on my 2nd new computer and still have the same problem. Again the error states it only works when the browser is in use. If the browser is in use, then what is the problem? thanks for any assistance you can provide.... I like Firefox and Roboform, it would be a blessing to have both working at the same time. I upload my customised themes on firefox add on store. I want to try my theme before I upload it into store to view how its looking, to find out any errors, etc. I tried using the below method ( Image 1 ) but this error occurs ( image 2 ).

Hello. I run Firefox as my main laptop (Mac) browser. I have added Zotero to manage my writing reference citation library, and have downloaded the current Zotero Connector for Firefox. I should be able to add references from online, by using the Zotero save icon that should appear on my Firefox toolbar. But this icon is nowhere to be seen and I cannot see how to make it appear. The whole advantage of Zotero for me as a writing academic is pinned to this function, so I am anxious to get it working. How can I get the Zotero save icon in its proper place on my Firefox toolbar, just to the right of the search window? Many thanks

I need some help with figuring out why when I switch from windowed mode to fullscreen mode my theme breaks. First image is how it should look and how it normally looks while I have a small window open and it isnt stretched. Second picture is what it looks like when I stretch it out or go fullscreen mode. I was wondering is there a way I can fix it myself or can it only be done by the author?

With the new update, everything looks different. So is the small search bar in the middle of the page. What I mean is that for a simple search I would type there, not the big address bar at the top. Well, when I start typing, it goes up into the address bar at the top. I got a reply from someone but even the 3 bar at the top right side gives me different menu. How do I get the small search bar working? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I find the updated version difficult to see. I've used Firefox happily for at least 15 years with no problems and appreciate its existence.

But the icons I see look just like the Bing icons - very finely drawn and small - and I can't control the colors. Also, the PBS pages have white rectangles scattered around, possibly unfinished labels

So how can I safely reinstall Firefox 8.8?

After updating firefox to the newest version all my context menus are dark. How do i change this, or how i can change firefox version to previous one. Thx for help.

Hello, With the latest Firefox update, the search bar in the Firefox Home page has been changed to a redirect to the address bar instead. When you type in the search bar in the Firefox Home it types in the address bar. It really annoys me because if I type "w" now it auto-complete "www.youtube.com" for me, but I just want to search "w". When I wanted to search an address I used the address bar, when I wanted to do a basic search I used the search bar, but now I only have access to the address bar unless I add the side search bar which I find very unpractical. I just wish we could set the Firefox Home search bar to either an address bar or a search bar, but the option is nowhere to be found.

Hi, I just installed the newest version of firefox and I really do not like the new tab design or general appearance of the browser when highlighting items. I wonder if it is possible to remove these visual changes and restore the previous version's appearance.

I have Windows 10 with the latest Firefox update. I have had it set up that when I select +(plus) after the last opened tab, it opens to the search page for the search engine I chose as primary. Now when I do it, the print is faded and I am unable to enter anything in the "search box" gh

How do I search from the Search Box (the box under Google" on the Google Homepage) ? Since the latest Firefox update (89.0June 2021), even though I have the cursor in the Search Box, when I type the cursor jumps to the address search box. I have tried adjusting the Firefox "search" settings, but that didn't work. I also tried changing "keyw" in "about:config" but that disabled searching in both the Search Box and the Address/Search Panel. Also tried reverting to the older version of Firefox (88.0)

I used to have Firefox set up how I like it, but now it seems I've lost that. Any ideas, please ?

I upgraded to v89 and chose not to change the theme. I've looked under every tab in settings and it is not there. I mouse-overed every icon and none were for choosing a theme. Search here had zero hits.

The new base system theme for FireFox is not accessible. I cannot visually tell when one tab shifts to another. Three's not enough contrast. There's no line that marks the shift from one tab to the next. I tried countless contributor themes and they're all lacking the same feature - a physical break between tabs. Fades on text are also not accessible. Please fix this issue!

How could I get at least the optics of the old one reinstalled? These new themes are awfull and I feel like I'm using chrome. Is there a way to at least use the old theme instead?

My password extension doesn't work in private window mode. When I look at the extension in Firefox, the mask shows next to it, indicating it should work in private mode. Is there a setting I'm missing?
