When using the PiP feature is there a way to switch whether it pauses the video when closing the PiP player?

Often if i want the audio to continue but dont want the popout player there and if I press the close button it will just stop the audio. If I select the PiP window and use the shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + ] the audio will continue playing as I want it however this is inconvenient and requires using the keyboard, is there any way to change it so that closing the popout player doesn't stop the tab from playing audio?

I have always had Firefox as my browser (senior citizen - desktop pc for 12 years. Yesterday everything worked fine, and today nothing works! I have done nothing to cause this - no kids, animals, etc. Please help me and restore my F.F. browser and all settings! Recently installed a new version, after our old PC died. BUT now, when I do 'save as' of an email the system automatically saves it as a PDF??? Unless I select save it as a Thunderbird, a tedious business and extra key strokes. How can I get the system to save an email as an email?

I'm with Optus,have had TB for many years,always worked perfectly. I made no changes to anything.3 days ago Thunderbird stopped sending or receiving messages. I get message "could not connect to server pop3.optusnet.com.au: the connection was refused". I have 2 email accounts (coghill1@optusnet.com.au and coghill2@optusnet.com.au, logged in via Optus webmail, can send and receive between accounts fine, so I assumed this was a TB fault, but when I reconnected my old Win7 PC (has been offline for months and was working fine) and tried TB, I got exactly the same result. I have previously spent over 3 hours on the phone to Optus tech support when setting up the Win10 desktop as TB didn't want to acknowledge the "myname2" account, got absolutely nowhere with them, clueless, solved by doing backup/restore from Win 7. I'm hesitant to attempt this again as the old system isn't working either. Hope this makes sense. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

I haven't been able to send an email and my isp says their settings are correct I need to contact Thunderbird to help with the PC settings....I need to speak with an agent. I am 81 and cant understand the prompts

I have five email addresses in my Thunderbird Beta. There was an update last night. I can't send emails from any of the 5 accounts. I can receive but can't send. The "send" box pops up for about a 1/2 second and then disappears and the message is not sent.

A while back I posted: Firefox NO LONGER adheres to "Ask if you want to Save" option..." Somehow - it was fixed after I posted - so I am trying again.

ALL my Application settings are correct - It says the browser is up to date - I am Windows 11 - Laptop. I don't know if it was an update that was just applied - I think it must be - As this was FINE yesterday - but NOW - When it press save - it automatically saves to a Download folder - It WILL NOT let me CHOOSE where to save. AND as you know in Settings, It says WHERE to save "DOWNLOADS" - you CAN change that - BUT - EVERY SAVE is DIfferent - I CAN'T and have NEVER saved something in the same folder every time - This was NEVER a problem - Just TODAY - so it has to be some upgrade that happened when I rebooted my laptop today. I have attached a screen grab - so you can see I have almost EVERYTHING as ALWAYS ASK - including Microsoft Word. HELP!!
